This is what they "can" sound like.

SG/LP P90's cover a lot of territory... of course there's a lot of windings and people playing through different amps/pedals too, so...

There's Townsend (above, gritty rock), Carlos e.g. Woodstock (singing sustain); two in Badfinger (clean and jangly) George Harrison's SG (mostly clean); Leslie West on a Jr (hard drivin;) ; Robby Krieger (The Doors, usually mellow, but gets gritty); and, of course, Tony Iommi. And others.

But to check out the Epi sound, look on Youtube for some Epi specific videos.

Title says it all.....
Tell us what Epi guitar you're planning to buy next
and why you need it so bad.....

pics would be nice :D

if your next buy isn't an Epi, here you go..

What non Epi are you planning to buy next
Not going to lie, I am eyeing that '59 Les Paul, even though I just got a LP Classic in 2021. I am also considering a Worn Casino or a TV Yellow LP Special.

Epiphone 1955 Les Paul Custom. That is the only Epiphone that I have wanted since Zero bought one.

It would compliment my collection since I only have one Epi with P-90’s and it’s a P-93 with the old P-90 design pickups.
:)

Edit: Just did a search for one and there is only one available on the internet on Reverb and the guy wants $1300 for it. I passed up one last year for $850. Bummer.

What a world we live in where a used Epi commands that kind of markup.

the prices are going crazy and it doesn't seem to change. Inflation around the world is high, today you can sometimes take more money for a used guitar than it cost three years ago for a new one
