Canada in southern Québec, 10 km from a little village called Sutton in a hilly heavily forested area. 20km north of the US Vermont border. House with green roof.

I'm just out of the frame at the bottom of this photo. What you see is my winter playground. Been on snowboard patrol there for the past 15 years.

I spend my summers in Iles de la Madeleine in the gulf of the St-Lawrence river.

Looks just like a place in the South Pacific called "No Bikini Atoll".

    Big nudist camp there. :D

    I'm not a fan myself.
    Q: "Why not Minot"?

    A: "How long ya got"

I would probably "live" at Kennedy Space Center if I was a local.

They all have a bright glow to them.

Well I love your country too, a very special place that I urge everyone to visit if they get a chance.

If this bloody virus settles down we might get back and have a look at the South Island as we’ve only seen the north.

    You'll love it Digger.
I lived in the South Island for over 30 years.
Less people (so none), much more dramatic scenery, better surf, skiing, Mt Biking etc.
    Heavenly mate!

Not sure I'm up to those activities at my age but it’s a nice thought thanks. I’m bound to have some fishing gear hidden in my luggage if we do come and I know what a mecca for fisherman NZ is.

Who knows what life will be like in the future, but we can always hope to travel again.

If you're looking at a more sedate holiday experience the scenery is outstanding and incredibly varied.
    The photo opportunities are endless.
Like you said, the fishing is amazing. You can stand on numerous swing bridges in the SI and watch the (sometimes huge) trout swim and feed below you.

    Lol
If you take a whiz in the men's room at my favorite little Local Tavern, you'll see a sign that says " gentlemen stand closer, it's shorter than you think"

Thats just silly. The majority of them are watermelon flavored.

At least you're close to some beautiful mountain ranges. I made a few trips up to Shaver Lake and need to make a trip to Kings Canyon soon. I lived in Visalia for a Summer, couldn't understand why it was so humid there.
